Conference Venue
The conference on the 27th January 2011 will be held at Cinema 1, in the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square, Melbourne CBD.

Getting there:
Parking
Public car parking is available at Federation Square and in Flinders Lane. The Federation Square Car Park is accessible via the main entrance on Russell Street, or via the service road on Batman Avenue. Early bird parking is available before 10am at a flat rate of $13 per day (please check the website here to confirm).
There are parking spaces for those with a disability permit located near the lifts in the Federation Square Car Park.
Taxis
A taxi rank is located across the road from Federation Square outside Flinders Street station.
Public Transport
You can catch buses, trams or trains to Federation Square. Route information is available from Metlink by calling 131 638 or on their website.
Tram numbers 48, 70, 75 and the City Circle tram stop on Flinders Street outside Federation Square. Tram numbers 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 22, 64, 67, 72 stop outside Flinders Street Station.
Flinders Street Station is directly opposite the Federation Square. Most metropolitan trains stop at this station. If you’re travelling from country Victoria, you can transfer from your regional train to a metropolitan train at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations.
Bike
There are bike racks in several locations around Federation Square.

The workshops on the 28th January 2011 will be held in the seminar rooms, in the State Library of Victoria, La Trobe Street, Melbourne CBD.

There are three parking spaces for those with a disability permit in La Trobe Street, outside Mr Tulk’s Café on La Trobe Street.

The nearest bus stops are located in Lonsdale, Russell and Exhibition streets.
Trams can be caught outside the Library in Swanston and La Trobe Streets. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, 72 trams all stop on Swanston St outside the State Library at Stop no. 8.
Other nearby stops include those on the corners of Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets.
